Hyatt Hotels Corp. now offers on-property Covid-19 testing through May 31, 2021, at 19 of its Latin American resorts for guests traveling to the United States, the company announced. The offer is valid for up to two registered guests per guestroom per stay at participating resorts in Mexico, Costa Rica, the Caribbean and South America.
Complimentary rapid antigen or RT-PCT testing options and minimum length-of-stay requirements vary by property. Guests may purchase additional on-property tests for a fee, which varies per property.
Hyatt also is offering a special Travel Delay Rate discount of 50 percent and 25 percent off standard rates at full-service hotels and at select-service hotels, respectively, for guests required to extend their stay due to a delay in testing or results, or due to a positive test result prior to their return flight, regardless of their destination. That offer is good for Hyatt hotels and resorts across Mexico, Central America, the Caribbean and South America. Those guests also will receive up to a 30 percent discount on their food and beverage at their hotel, excluding alcohol. The rate is valid for stays up to 14 nights. There is no minimum length-of-stay requirement, but guests must book with the hotel directly while on property. The offer is not valid at Hyatt Ziva and Hyatt Zilara properties.
