American Express on Sept. 17 will open The Centurion Lounge at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, the company announced Wednesday. The new lounge will be the 33rd in the Centurion Lounge network and the first in continental Europe.
The nearly 6,000-sq.-ft. lounge will be located between Concourses E and F and will be open from 6 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. daily. It will feature a Blue Roast Coffee Bar, a full bar and a buffet with seasonal dishes "inspired by Dutch and regional European flavors." The space also will have a phone run, "abundant" power and USB access, and complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi, according to American Express.
Platinum card members will have unlimited access to the new lounge. Those who spend $75,000 or more in eligible purchases per calendar year will receive access for up to two guests per visit. Centurion card members also will have unlimited access with either up to two complimentary guests or immediate family—spouse/domestic partner and children under age 18, according to American Express.
