American Airlines in March 2026 will resume daily flights between New York John F. Kennedy International Airport and Tel Aviv, Israel, the carrier confirmed Monday.
JFK to Tel Aviv flights will begin March 28, with return Tel Aviv to JFK flights set to resume March 31. Flights are on sale and will operate will Boeing 777-200ER aircraft.
The carrier has not operated its New York-Tel Aviv route since October 2023, when several global carriers suspended service to Israel after the Oct. 7 Hamas attack.
American is the last of the big three international U.S. carriers to restart its service to Israel. United Airlines resumed service in March 2025, followed by Delta Air Lines in April 2025. Each carrier in May 2025 also temporarily suspended service again after a missile strike landed near Tel Aviv's Ben Gurion Airport. Delta once more resumed flights between JFK and Tel Aviv on May 20, while United restarted its Newark-Tel Aviv service on July 21.
