American Airlines, British Airways and several of its joint venture partner carriers will launch new ongoing and seasonal transatlantic routes through spring, the carriers announced.
American will operate daily service between Charlotte, N.C., and Rome from April 5 to Oct. 29, 2022. Beginning June 3, 2022, British Airways will fly five times a week between Heathrow and Portland, Ore., and four times a week between Heathrow and Pittsburgh.
Iberia will increase its capacity between April and October on flights between Madrid and New York, Miami, Chicago, Los Angeles, and San Juan, P.R., and offer 19 weekly flights between Madrid and Mexico. Finnair will fly between Helsinki and Dallas from Feb. 6, 2022, to Oct. 30, 2022, four times a week, and between Helsinki and Seattle from June 1 to Oct. 29 three times a week. Level beginning March 28 will fly between Barcelona and Los Angeles four times a week.
Air Lingus on Dec. 1 launched daily service between Manchester, U.K., and New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport, and on Dec. 11 launched four-times-per-week Manchester-Orlando service, which will increase to daily service beginning May 2.
