U.S. federal government employees using government-issued credit cards now are pre-qualified for government per diem rates at Marriott properties
and do not need to show identification when checking in. Marriott said the Government Traveler ID program "means more guest rooms at the government rate will be available to those who qualify for it, and they will be more likely to receive the rate at the hotel of their choice."
