TPConnects has launched a new "lightweight" API that it said can provide faster response times than traditional New Distribution Capability connections.
Express API, part of TPConnects' Iris aggregator platform, was built to deliver smaller response payloads than NDC schemas. It includes a "straightforward shop-price-book workflow" with options for seat and service selection, according to TPConnects.
As a result, it is "faster to integrate, faster to respond and flexible enough to support everything from basic booking flows to advanced ancillary sales," TPConnects director of product for travel seller solutions Stephanos Kykkotis said in a statement.
