CWT clients using Concur Travel now can source all their hotel content through Roomit by CWT, the travel management company's hotel distribution division, CWT announced. The expanded integration with Concur will provide clients with additional savings and reporting capabilities, CWT said. The phased rollout began in late May and will continue through the end of the year.
The initiative includes enhanced rate descriptions across web and mobile platforms, so travelers can view the source of the rate and their loyalty eligibility. Virtual payment also is available for all types of rates.
Hotel sourcing for CWT clients had been separate from the Roomit by CWT division until recently, when the hotel team from the CWT Solutions Group integrated with Roomit, and began to apply Roomit technology for its clients' hotel sourcing needs, according to Roomit by CWT senior director for Roomit solutions Pauline Robin.
In addition, as of May 1, Patrick Andersen became chief commercial officer and president of Roomit by CWT, succeeding former president David Falter, who has left the company, CWT announced. Andersen joined CWT in 2008 and most recently was chief strategy and commerce officer.
