Southwest Airlines subsidiary AirTran Airways in December was the most punctual U.S. carrier,
with an on-time arrival ratio of 92
percent, according to FlightStats. It was followed by Alaska Air Group
subsidiary Horizon Air (91 percent). Southwest Airlines ranked last among major
U.S. carriers with on-time performance of 74.4 percent.
