On Oct. 1, he will become COO, and on Jan. 1, 2016, he will
become CEO. De Shon has led international operations at Avis Budget this year
and previously oversaw both Europe, Middle East, Africa and U.S. operations. He
joined the company in 2006. Nelson, CEO since 2006, will stay on as executive
chairman.
