Alaska Airlines in September once again had the best on-time performance among the nine largest U.S. carriers,
according to FlightStats. It
was again followed by AirTran (90 percent) and Delta (87 percent). Southwest
Airlines ranked last among the group based on FlightStats data, with on-time
performance of 74 percent.
