according to FlightStats. Overall, 74.8 percent of February flights by North American carriers arrived at the gate within 15 minutes of the scheduled time. Among the 12 largest North American carriers, Southwest (82.2 percent), Virgin America (79.6 percent), Delta (77.9 percent) and WestJet (75.7 percent) had above-average on-time arrival rates for the month. On-time rates for US Airways (73.2 percent), United (73 percent), American (72.3 percent), Spirit (66.3 percent), Air Canada (65.7 percent), JetBlue (64.9 percent) and Frontier (60.6 percent) were below average.
