Alaska Airlines and Icelandair will begin a codeshare agreement on Nov. 1, pending regulatory approval,
the carriers announced Wednesday. The agreement would bring integrated ticketing, one-stop check-in and baggage handling, and coordinated schedules between the two carriers. They also will offer reciprocal mileage accrual on their respective frequent-flyer programs beginning Oct. 1. Alaska and Icelandair previously had a frequent-flyer partnership from 2010 to 2013.
