as senior vice president, leaving behind the airline for which he has worked since 1999. "On the headquarters front, the vast majority of headquarters functions at AirTran have been transitioned to Dallas," said AirTran president and Southwest chief commercial officer Bob Jordan on Thursday during a quarterly earnings call. "That include finance, marketing, technology, people, revenue management and network planning, to name a few. To date, two-thirds of AirTran headquarters folks have accepted an offer to join the Southwest family."
