global premium airline traffic in November declined 11.5 percent versus a year earlier
The International Air Transport Association said , the sixth consecutive month of slowing global premium volumes. The key North Atlantic market experienced a 9 percent monthly decline in premium travel, and was down nearly 2 percent for the first 11 months of 2008. "With deep recessions forecast this year at both ends of this market further declines in premium travel should be expected," according to IATA. Pacific region premium traffic plummeted nearly 18 percent in November while Europe-Asia premium traffic retreated nearly 10 percent.
