US Airways announced a new codeshare deal with Avianca and an expanded one with Taca.

US Airways effective Jan. 7 will connect customers to Avianca flights to the Colombian cities of Bogota, Barranquilla, Cali, Cartagena and Medellin, while Avianca customers gain access to US Airways services in Charlotte, Philadelphia, Phoenix and Washington National Airport. The expanded Taca deal links US Airways customers to Taca flights for San Salvador and Guatemala City. Avianca and Taca are part of AviancaTaca Holdings.
