The Republic of Ireland in April 2014 will scrap its €3 (US$4) per passenger air departure tax.
The tax was introduced in 2008. The Air Passenger Duty is £13 (US$21) in neighboring Northern Ireland and up to £188 (US$300) in the rest of the United Kingdom.
