Airberlin named Titus Johnson its new vice president of sales and marketing in the Americas.

At Airberlin since 2006, Johnson now is "responsible for all commercial activity in America" and will report to vice president of international sales Mats Jacobsson. His 20-year industry career included a stint as Sabre's airline sales director. Airberlin's U.S. stations include New York JFK, Miami and San Francisco. In May the carrier plans to begin service to Las Vegas and Los Angeles.
