TravelPerk app users now can book domestic U.K rail tickets from Trainline and collect tickets from 1,700 Trainline kiosks in stations across the country. Trainline's adjustment and cancellation policies will apply to the tickets, while TravelPerk will provide 24/7 customer support. The decision to integrate a U.K. train booking service was driven by what TravelPerk called a "rapidly growing increase" in business travelers choosing rail travel. Train bookings made on the TravelPerk platform increased 138 percent from the fourth quarter of 2018 to the first quarter of 2019, the company said. The deal comes weeks after the Barcelona-based company announced it would double the size of its London-based team and hired Richard Viner to manage U.K operations.
