Avis Budget Group has named Daniel Cunha as its new CFO, effective July 1, the company announced Monday.
Cunha most recently was CFO of Orion Services Group, a private equity owned commercial field services company, and he previously was CFO of Ocean Spray and Heinz North America, according to Avis Budget.
Cunha will succeed Izzy Martins, who will depart the company on June 30 to pursue another opportunity, but she will continue to advise Avis Budget through Aug. 31 "to assist with the orderly transition of her duties."
Martins, who has been with Avis Budget for about 20 years, became CFO on Jan. 1, 2024, succeeding former CFO Brian Choi. Choi, who transitioned to the role of EVP and chief transformation officer at that time, will take over as CEO on July 1, replacing outgoing executive Joe Ferraro.
