WestJet has hired former Southwest Airlines
chief technology officer Craig Maccubbin as EVP and chief information officer.
Maccubbin, who has been with Southwest since 2013, will help lead "an
ongoing technology transformation at WestJet" as the Canadian low-cost carrier
grows globally, according to WestJet president and CEO Gregg Saretsky. He
begins his new role April 24, pending immigration approval.
