United Airlines this fall will add new connecting service to
Bangkok, Thailand, and Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, and direct service from the
U.S. to Adelaide, Australia, the carrier announced Wednesday.
Beginning Oct. 26, United will launch daily service between
Hong Kong and each Bangkok and Ho Chi Minh City. The routes will operate with
Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft. The new flights "will be scheduled to
offer easier connections for travelers from across North America to help meet
the growing demand for travel to these destinations," according to the
carrier.
On Dec. 11, United will begin nonstop service between San
Francisco and Adelaide with three-times weekly service. Flights will operate
with Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft.
In addition, on Oct. 25, the carrier will add a second
flight between San Francisco and Manila, the Philippines, operating with Boeing
777-300ER aircraft.
