United Airlines has appointed Aileen Furlong as managing
director of global corporate accounts, overseeing all of the carrier's
corporate accounts and reporting directly to SVP of worldwide sales Jake
Cefolia. Furlong joined United in 2000 and has had roles in network planning,
marketing and loyalty. She joined the carrier's sales team last year as
managing director of specialty sales, meeting and acquisitions.
