Ahmet Olmuştur
Turkish Airlines has named chief commercial officer Ahmet Olmuştur as its new CEO, the carrier announced Thursday. In addition, CFO Murat Şeker has been named chairman of the board of directors and the executive committee of the airline. Their new roles are effective immediately.
Olmuşter had been chief commercial officer since 2024 and prior to that was chief marketing and sales officer beginning in 2014, according to Turkish Airlines. Şeker had been CFO since July 2016.
The carrier also has named Metin Gülşen as CFO. He previously had been SVP of accounting and financial control. In addition, SVP of sales Harun Baştürk has been promoted to chief commercial officer, according to Turkish Airlines.
