Frans Leenaars has been named chief commercial officer for Norse Atlantic Airways.
Norse Atlantic Airways has named former TUI Group executive Frans
Leenaars chief commercial officer, effective immediately, the carrier announced
Tuesday. Norse did not immediately respond to a request for additional
information about whether this is a new position within the airline.
Leenaars will be responsible for leading Norse's global
commercial strategy and technology development, including continued network
development, partnerships, customer experience, revenue management, sales,
marketing and IT, according to the carrier.
Leenaars spent more than 10 years at TUI Group, a German
multinational travel and tourism company, most recently as director of
marketing and sales optimization. Prior he was VP of marketing and sales for
Benelux, Germany, Switzerland and Austria for Disney Parks and Resorts and VP
of commercial planning for Air France-KLM, according to his LinkedIn page.
