Delta posted the best on-time record among major
North American carriers in January, getting 79.3 percent of fights to the gate
within 15 minutes of scheduled arrival time, according to FlightStats. Overall,
major North American carriers were on time 76.8 percent of the time. The four
largest carriers in the region also were the four carriers with the best
on-time performance.
