Deutsche Lufthansa AG's supervisory board
elected Karl-Ludwig Kley as chairman a day after Wolfgang Mayrhuber announced
that he was resigning from the office. Mayrhuber, who has been chair since 2013
and served as Lufthansa CEO from 2003 through 2010, said he was resigning six
months prior to the end of his term "in the interest of continuous
development and a forward-looking development." Kley joined the board in
2013 and was Lufthansa CFO from 1998 to 2006.
