Air France's "new generation" carrier Joon will
expand its network to seven new destinations in EMEA in the spring. The destinations are:
- On March 25, seven weekly flights to each
Istanbul and Cairo, 14 weekly flights to Naples, 18 weekly flights to Oslo and
49 weekly flights to Rome
- On April 1, three weekly flights to Cape Town
- On April 2, three weekly flights to Tehran
Air France is positioning Joon, which begins
service this week to Barcelona, Berlin, Lisbon and Porto, Portugal, as a
blend of full-service and low-cost carriers, offering meal service in economy
classes on long-haul flights, for example. By summer 2018, Joon's network will
include 228 weekly flights to 13 destinations.
