Air France's Millennial-focused Joon airline
will begin service Dec. 1, connecting Paris' Charles de Gaulle Airport with Barcelona,
Berlin, Lisbon and Porto, Portugal. Next summer, the carrier will add service
to Fortaleza, Brazil, and Mahe, Seychelles. Announced
in July, Joon is positioned as a blend of a full-service and low-cost
airline that Air France will use on highly competitive routes. The carrier also
announced some of its planned features, including 60 options for food and
snacks for sale in economy and free in business class, as well as in-flight
streaming entertainment via passengers' own electronic devices.
