International Airlines Group CFO Nicholas Cadbury will step
down from his role and depart the company effective June 2026, IAG announced
Friday. Cadbury has been with IAG, the parent company of British Airways,
Iberia, Aer Lingus, Level and Vueling, since March 2022.
IAG has named British Airways chief financial and
transformation officer José Antonio Barrionuevo as Cadbury's successor,
effective when Cadbury departs. Prior to his role at BA, which he assumed in
July 2023, Barrionuevo served as Iberia CFO for 10 years.
Iberia chief financial and technology officer Gabriel
Perdiguero will succeed Barrionuevo as British Airways chief financial and
transformation officer, according to Iberia. He has been with Iberia for nearly
12 years, and has been its financial leader since April 2024, according to his
LinkedIn profile.
Vueling chief financial and transformation officer Joana de
Epalza will succeed Perdiguero as Iberia CFO, effective June 2026. She has been
Vueling's CFO since November 2023. Prior joining the carrier, she served as CFO
of companies including Renault Sport Racing and Groupe Renault's Alpine brand,
according to her LinkedIn profile.
