Hawaiian Airlines officially has joined the Oneworld airline alliance, parent company Alaska Air Group announced Thursday.
This is the first time Hawaiian has been in an airline alliance. Alaska Air Group, also the parent of Alaska Airlines, acquired Hawaiian in 2024.
Alaska Airlines joined Oneworld in 2021 after it partnered with American Airlines in 2020 with its "West Coast International Alliance."
The membership for Hawaiian connects Hawaii to nearly 1,000 global destinations across more than 170 countries, according to Alaska. Hawaiian Airlines guests who are members of the Atmos Rewards loyalty program can earn and redeem points and enjoy elite status when traveling on any of the 14 other Oneworld airlines.
