Gant Travel now provides airfare monitoring via Yapta's FareIQ as a standard service offering. Yapta monitors fares across classes for Gant's customer base, negating the need for the travel management company to negotiate individual contracts with clients and allowing small and midsize companies the same opportunities as larger clients, Gant president and CEO Patrick Linnihan said. Within its first week—when it was tracking fares only in the post-purchase window, when ticket changes incur no fees—clients saved an average of $183 per rebooking, according to Gant.
