Etihad Aviation Group has named U.K. Ministry of
Defence executive Tony Douglas as CEO, effective January 2018. Douglas is CEO
of the ministry's defense equipment procurement department, and he formerly was
CEO of London's Heathrow Airport. In the United Arab Emirates, he served as CEO
of both Abu Dhabi Airports Co. and Abu Dhabi Ports. Douglas succeeds Etihad
CEO James Hogan, who left this summer after more than 10 years in the
position. Chief people and performance officer Ray Gammell has served as
interim CEO since his departure.
