The eight airlines which form the Etihad Airways Partners group have
aligned the benefits of their frequent-flyer programs. The group now presents to
program members consistent tier bonus miles on all EAP flights and access to all
lounges operated by the airlines. Silver, gold and platinum members of all EAP
frequent-flyer programs will also be entitled to priority check-in, regardless
of which airline they fly. The partners group also harmonized excess baggage
allowances. EAP consists of Etihad Airways plus seven carriers in which the Abu
Dhabi-based airline holds equity stakes. Four of them (Etihad Airways, Etihad
Regional, Air Seychelles and Air Serbia) already operate the same loyalty
program. The other carriers are Alitalia, Jet Airways, airberlin and NIKI.
