Ethiopian Airlines has promoted Samson Arega to the position of regional director for the United States, the carrier announced Wednesday. He assumed the role Jan. 20 and is based in Washington, D.C.
Arega most recently had been the head of the Ethiopian Airlines Canadian office for the past three years. Previously, he served as the carrier's Kuwait area manager and had started with the airline in sales and marketing.
