Delta is making it simpler to add joint-contract
carrier partners to Delta agreements. Building on Delta's simplified
national sales agreements, the new "scalable structure" for
global and multinational corporate sales contracts consolidates pricing
structures so pricing displays in a consistent format across all joint-contract
airlines, according to a Delta spokesperson. The new structure also makes contract
changes easier. Aeromexico, which received
regulatory approval for a joint venture with Delta last year, is among the
carriers that can be added to the contract, and Delta expects to add Korean Air
once that JV receives
regulatory approval.
