Abra Group, parent company to carriers Avianca and Gol, has submitted its intent for a proposed initial public offering with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, the company announced Thursday. It also announced orders for 57 additional aircraft.
Abra has added 50 Airbus A320neo aircraft to its fleet order, bringing the total to 138, to be delivered by 2032. The first deliveries of this model are expected by the end of 2025 and will include three rows of premium seats in a two-per-side configuration. In addition, the company added seven A330neo planes to its order book.
