Alaska Airlines was the most punctual of major North
American carriers in July with an on-time performance rate of 86.1 percent,
according to FlightStats. On average, carriers got 76.9 percent of flights to
the gate within 15 minutes of their scheduled arrival times. Delta, WestJet and
United also had above average on-time rates in July.
