Alaska Air Group has appointed Lyft executive
Annabel Chang as Bay Area VP, leading the group's community and government
relations and providing sales and marketing support in the San Francisco area. Chang,
currently director of public policy for Lyft and a former prosecuting attorney
in the San Francisco District Attorney's Office, will begin in June and work
from the Virgin America office in Burlingame, Calif. Alaska has been working to
build its Bay Area network, including courting corporate business in the area,
since its
acquisition of Virgin America.
