On Friday, Airberlin's frequent-flyer program
Topbonus filed for insolvency, following the carrier's own
insolvency filing earlier this month. Topbonus has suspended collection and
redemption of miles, though members with status will continue to receive
relevant perks on flights and flights previously purchased with miles remain
valid.
