Air France-KLM has appointed its EVP of cargo, Adriaan den Heijer, to lead its commercial teams as EVP and chief commercial officer starting Sept. 1, the carrier announced.
Den Heijer will take the reins from SVP and chief commercial officer Angus Clarke, whom the carrier earlier this month announced would depart the company for an external opportunity. As of Sept. 1, den Heijer will act as chief commercial officer and continue leading the cargo organization "until further notice," according to the carrier.
In a statement, Air France-KLM Group CEO Benjamin Smith said den Heijer "knows the ins and outs of our business" with 30 years of experience at KLM and Air France-KLM.
