Air Canada has ordered eight Airbus A350-1000 widebody aircraft, with an option to purchase eight more, the carrier announced Wednesday. Deliveries are expected to begin in the second half of 2030. The planes will be equipped with "the latest generation" of in-flight entertainment screens and connectivity, as well as Air Canada's new cabin design, which is being introduced later this year, according to the carrier.
