Abra Group, parent company of Avianca, Gol and Wamos Air,
has agreed to purchase up to 45 Embraer aircraft, the company announced
Tuesday.
The deal includes 20 E195-E2 planes, with 10 purchase
options and 15 purchase rights, subject to "certain additional
conditions," according to Abra. The company plans to use the aircraft to
"expand its strategy as a pan-Latin American platform" with new
markets and additional frequencies, and "better match capacity and demand
throughout its network."
The first delivery for the order is expected in the fourth
quarter of 2027, according to Abra.
