Travel data and virtual payments specialist Grasp Technologies has partnered with Uniglobe Travel British Isles and EMEA, making Grasp a preferred supplier for Uniglobe, according to the companies. Under the deal, Grasp will offer its products and services at a discounted rate to Uniglobe's network of member travel agencies in those two regions, which together comprise more than 120 locations.
Grasp and Uniglobe already have a similar partnership in North America, which now is being expanded into the U.K. and EMEA regions, the firms said.
San Diego-headquartered Grasp's corporate travel product line includes its GraspData business intelligence and reporting platform, as well as GraspPay, a service that generates virtual payment cards for travel bookings with no fee to corporates or TMCs. Instead, Grasp takes a percentage of the interchange fees received from suppliers for each purchase.
