Off-channel bookings data aggregator Traxo has added mobile
app Freebird to the Traxo
Connect Marketplace and will add travel savings incentives tool
Rocketrip soon, helping each apply its service to mutual clients' off-channel
bookings.
Freebird monitors for flight disruptions and proactively
presents the traveler with rebooking options. When a traveler books a flight
off-channel, Traxo Filter captures the flight details from the booking's
confirmation email, then feeds them to Freebird. "Because the integration
supports all flight bookings, regardless of source, it works equally well for
large enterprises needing flight disruption protection for off-channel air
bookings, as well as for small companies with an unmanaged travel program where
employees have the flexibility to book anywhere," said Traxo chief commercial
officer Cara Whitehill.
Traxo similarly flows off-channel booking data to Rocketrip
so it can calculate its budget to beat and notify travelers when they've gone
over or reward them when they come in under. "Partnering with Traxo gives
Rocketrip the opportunity to bring corporate travel incentives to bookings from
any channel, including supplier direct and online travel agencies," said Rocketrip
founder and CEO Dan Ruch.
