Traxo Connect clients now can send travel data automatically
to suppliers that appear in the new Traxo Marketplace. The travel data
aggregator's new platform has launched with 13 suppliers, including travel risk
management companies Anvil, iJet and International SOS; expense management
providers Abacus, AppZen and Chrome River; rate-reshopping tools Tripbam and
Yapta; and a U.K.-based travel management company, Business Travel Direct.
Traxo CEO Andres Fabris said more partners are coming.
Traxo captures booking data via booking confirmation emails
that travelers forward to Traxo; via Traxo
Filter, which automatically forwards booking confirmation emails to Traxo;
and via direct connects with TMCs and partners like Lufthansa.
Within the Traxo Connect dashboard for itinerary and spend management, a travel
manager can turn on the data-transmission function to allow a given supplier to
receive that booking data in real time via an application programming interface,
Fabris explained. Likewise, clients can switch the capability off. If a travel
manager has turned on data transmission with Chrome River, for example, the
booking data Traxo aggregates will flow from Traxo Connect to the expense
management system. If the corporate client later switched expense providers,
the travel manager can switch off the Chrome River transmission.
