Boulder, Colo.-based travel management company Cain Travel is implementing BTP Automation's hotel sourcing platform, BTP announced.
The platform, which can automate the negotiation process in hotel sourcing, provide data on spending and sustainability and help drive program compliance, will help Cain "raise the bar" in its hotel program management offering, according to Cain Travel president Michael Cain. The TMC has seen growing demand from clients over the past few years in helping manage hotel costs to fit within travel budgets, he said.
"BTP's proprietary platform will deliver a new set of tools to manage hotel costs and to establish preferred properties with a vision into new property attributes that meet the demands of our clients' travelers," Cain said in a statement. "Further, BTP features automated rate auditing, allowing our customers real-time re-book options to ensure their negotiated properties are consistently honoring their contracted rates and maximizing compliance within their travel policy."
Cain Travel is the second TMC with which BTP has announced a partnership in recent months. In July, Charlotte-based Corporate Travel Management announced it would incorporate the platform. BTP is working with CTM's hotel desk in global hotel sourcing and is helping to handle bids, negotiations and rate audits for the TMC, CTM president Kelly Noftsger said.
