BTN 2026 Car Rental & Ground Transportation Survey Methodology

Business Travel News fielded its annual Car Rental and Ground Transportation survey to a select group of the BTN audience from Feb. 1 to March 11, 2026, and asked them to rate car rental brands on an ascending scale of 1 to 5 across 12 criteria and respond regarding their partnerships over the previous 12 months. The 163 respondents included corporate travel buyers and corporate travel agents. All respondents were limited to rating providers with which they held contracts or incurred significant volume in the last 12 months. BTN gathered general sentiment regarding the chauffeured car and ride-hail services from all respondents who indicated their travelers engaged with those services regularly.
