Lufthansa Group traffic revenue declined 0.5
percent year over year to €6 billion in the fourth quarter. Capacity grew 6.2
percent, but unit revenue declined 5.9 percent due in part to "the
difficult geopolitical situation," according to CFO Ulrik Svensson. For
the full year 2016, the company reported a net profit of €1.8 billion, up 4.6
percent compared with 2015.
