Enterprise Holdings revenue increased 8.1
percent year over year to $20.8 billion in its 2016 fiscal year, which ended
July 31. Its fleet size reached 1.8 million vehicles, up from 1.7 million for
the previous fiscal year, and total locations grew 6.7 percent to 9,600.
Enterprise reported its brands account for 37 percent of U.S. airport car
rental market share, up a percentage point from a year prior and up from 28
percent in 2007. The company does not report net income, as it is privately
held.
