Three months after Michelle McKinney Frymire left the role of CWT chief financial officer to become the mega travel management company's CEO, the company has named her permanent replacement. Bill Courtney will assume the CFO role effective Sept. 1, taking over from acting CFO Courtney Mattson, who will return to her former role as global treasurer and deputy CFO.
In addition to CFO, Courtney also will serve as an executive vice president and a member of CWT's executive leadership team. Based in North Carolina, Courtney will report to McKinney Frymire, who took the helm as CWT CEO on May 1 2021, replacing Kurt Ekert in the company's top executive role.
Prior to his new position with CWT, Courtney served as CFO of Starkey Hearing Technologies. His previous experience includes senior global finance roles with Delta Air Lines, Medtronic, Bank of America, Best Buy Co. and Barclay’s Bank.
